Ready To work in Pakistani Films~ Ranbir Kapoor

LAHORE: Ranbir Kapoor in a Pakistani film? It may sound too good to be true but it seems the Bollywood superstar is certainly open to the idea.

During an interaction with the Pakistani press via video conference, Ranbir said if a Pakistani producer offers a ‘quality film with a great story’, he will waste no time in signing up for the project.

“My family has always worked for the welfare of cinema. It is true that the Indian film industry is bigger compared to Pakistan’s industry. The promotion and well-being of film culture in the region is the responsibility of local artists,” he said during the video chat which took place at Luxus Grand Cinema in Lahore on Friday.

The session was organised by Distribution Club Pvt Ltd and was part of a promotional event for Ranbir and Deepika’s upcoming film Tamasha.

Ranbir also said older members of his family have in the past paid numerous visits to Pakistan for both professional and personal reasons. “Even I want to visit. There are so many cities and locations that I have to see!”

He added that he is aware the Pakistani film industry has its own wonderful traditions and that there is no race between Indian films and Pakistani cinema. “We should all work for the promotion of film culture in the region.”

Ranbir doesn’t shy away from talking about failures. “I know that some of my recently-launched films were not good enough. I take full responsibility for the failure,” he said.

He said rehashing clichéd stories and music is plain boring. The actor hoped that Tamasha would turn the tide. “It is a different film altogether that will fulfill the demands of the viewers. We’re lucky to have A R Rehman on board for the film. The audience will not forget the film’s music for years to come.”

As far as Tamasha’s response in Pakistan is concerned, Ranbir said it will be a proud moment for him if Pakistani audiences turn up in huge numbers to see the film and make it a success. “Tamasha’s storyline is very powerful, hence there was no need to add ‘masala’ content like items songs etc,” he said. The film has been shot in Japan and other scenic locations which will enhance the visual spectacle that the film will spin.

Although Ranbir occupied most of the talking time, Deepika also got a chance to address the Pakistani media. “It is a family film with a very interesting story that has something for all sections of the society,” she said.

The Bollywood diva said she has always enjoyed working with Ranbir. “I learnt a lot from him and we made some great memories during the shoot.”

Deepika said one should do what the heart says and care little about how others will perceive it, which is the undercurrent of Tamasha. “I am essaying the role of this girl, Tara, who never compromises when it comes to the truth. I am actually looking forward to how women like the film, especially my role,” she said.

She added that actors should not compete with each other as every role demands them to give their best shot. “I have given my 100 per cent to Tamasha.”

Directed by Imtiaz Ali, Tamasha will hit cinemas on November 27.

I don't have faith in Pakistan: Saif Ali Khan

Actor believes that sensitive issues in films shouldn't be the reason they get banned on both sides of the border. PHOTO: MASALA
Actor believes that sensitive issues in films shouldn't be the reason they get banned on both sides of the border
Saif Ali Khan is not too pleased with his neighbouring country. Having faced a ban in Pakistan on his previous filmAgent Vinod, Saif’s Phantombore the same fate after our Censor board’s final verdict declared his movie inappropriate to be screened in Pakistan.

In an interview with DNA, the Bollywood actor seemed visibly upset following the ban on his film, however, he was not surprised that it suffered this fate.
“I don’t have faith in Pakistan, generally. Neither do I understand what their thought processes are. I have no problems against Pakistan and I won’t make a film that’s against the country. But now they have banned the film. We have always shared a very complicated relationship. If you tell uncomfortable truths, films gets banned. We keep banning each other’s films,” he expressed.
Speaking about how the ban would affect the film, he admitted that it meant Phantom would rake in lesser profits because of the high Bollywood demand here.
“We might have made a little bit more money. I remember Race made some money, so there is a market there. The irony is that everybody is going to watch it anyway on pirated DVDs. That’s what happens a lot in Pakistan,” said Saif.
He feels issues should not be taken up in a sensitive manner otherwise it will restrict screening Bollywood films in Pakistan.
“If you try making a film which portrays a certain element of truth, something that makes Pakistan a little bit uncomfortable, they will ban it. They did that with many of my films, so I have faced it already. But that doesn’t necessarily dictate what kind of movies we should make. If that did, we would end up making only films like Race,” stressed the actor.
Regarding extremists, the actor believes that while there may be a few in India and Pakistan, majority of the population is peaceful:
“I am sure, there must be areas. I think the world has sections of people who are extremists. There must be people who say Pakistan is the villain or someone who says some other religion is bad. But I think the majority of the population is peace-loving, be it in India or Pakistan. The enormous success of Bajrangi Bhaijaan shows that most people would like a Utopian situation,” he said.
While his film might not gather the same profits if it would have been screened in Pakistan, the actor is still positive about his film.
When asked if the delay in Phantom‘s release could generate negative publicity the actor said: “That could happen, but I don’t think that has happened with Phantom. I think the release date is perfect. We have the Rakhi weekend. And it’s releasing after Bajrangi Bhaijaan. All these are positives for the film. Generally, a delay is definitely not a good idea,” said Saif.

It's logical that Pakistan will have problems with Phantom: Katrina Kaif

The film has garnered major backlash in Pakistan due to its content. PHOTO: GLAMSHAM
The film has garnered major backlash in Pakistan due to its content.
Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif and megastar Saif Ali Khan are battling against all odds for the release of their filmPhantom in Pakistan after facing major backlash for content-related issues.

When Jamat-ud-Dawah chief Hafiz Saeed filed a petition in the Lahore High Court seeking a ban on Phantom‘s release in Pakistan due to “filthy propaganda” against our country, the two actors jumped to its rescue.
“It is logical that Pakistan will have problems with this film. A person is doing wrong and the country is not doing wrong. One of the villains in the film may be from Pakistan but that doesn’t mean Pakistan is a villainous country,” said Katrina, reported NDTV.
Katrina presented director Kabir Khan’s take on the film and tried to explain it through his eyes.
“He (Kabir) feels that the country has suffered and not that the country is bad. There is a lot of conflict and upheaval between the two countries so there will be stories on it,” she said.

She added that although the film does contain fictional matter regarding the 26/11 incident, it is predominantly based on facts.
She said: “There is a very significant portrayal of Pakistan in the film, about someone who is in Pakistan. I think we are not here to preach. We are here to make an amazing story. But it has got its facts and base in the right place.”
While she did admit that initially she was doubtful about doing the film, Kabir’s passion and the message behind the film pushed her to say yes.
“The moment I heard the story, I told Kabir, ‘Are you sure you want to do this?’. But he was passionate about the story. It has an important message and beyond that, it is a fiction film. It is an exciting thriller,” said the actress.

Phantom, scheduled to release on Aug 28, is a film which deals with the aftermath of 26/11 attacks in Mumbai and global terrorism.

JuD chief moves court against Indian film exhibition

LAHORE: Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan of the LHC will take up on Monday the petition of Jamatud Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed challenging exhibition of an upcoming Indian movie “Phantom” in Pakistan.
Through Advocate A K Dogar, Mr Saeed states in his petition that the film contains venom against Pakistan and the JuD.
He said apparently the film is about the 2008 Mumbai attacks and global terrorism.
He says the film contains filthy propaganda against Pakistan using global terrorism as a pretext.
He prays to the court to ban the exhibition of the film in the country for its “anti-Pakistan” content.

LAHORE: A lawyer for Hafiz Mohammed Saeed said on Thursday that a court has banned an upcoming Bollywood movie that ‘imagines’ his client being assassinated.

Saeed, who has a $10 million bounty on his head over his alleged involvement in the 2008 Mumbai attacks, had petitioned the Lahore High Court to ban the film “Phantom” in Pakistan, saying it posed a threat to his life and was Indian propaganda meant to hurt Pakistan's image.
“It is absurd to say that (Saeed) is linked to the attacks in Mumbai,” said lawyer A.K. Dogar. “We hope the government will take steps to implement the court order.”
According to a court document, the government informed the Lahore High Court that it had received no request from the producer of “Phantom” to show the movie in Pakistan.
“Phantom” will be released in India on August 28.
A brief statement from the court announcing the decision did not give its reason for banning the film.
There was no immediate reaction from the film's producer. Director Kabir Khan has been quoted as saying that Saeed is the one who is spreading a hate agenda.
In Phantom, based on the novel “Mumbai Avengers” by S. Hussain Zaidi, Indian spies target those behind the Mumbai siege, a three-day rampage in India's financial capital that left 166 people dead.
But unlike the novel, which used pseudonyms for those accused of plotting the attack, “Phantom” apparently names Saeed, as well as American David Coleman Headley, who was sentenced to 35 years in a US prison for his role in planning the siege.
Authorities in the United States and India blamed the militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba, which is seen as a front for Hafiz Saeed's Jamaatud Dawa (JuD), for carrying out the Mumbai assault.

Hate Terrorism Not The Terrorist

Once again Good evening and Asalam'O Allikum
So our Topic is Hate Terrorism not Terrorism some where i heard that "Buray log nahi bura unka kaam hota hy Nafraat unke kaam se kro unse nahi"
when i heard this i though "kya farq parta hy wo aur unka kaam ek hi cheez tu hy''
but No aisa bilkul nai hy mujhe ye baat dair se samjh ai but there is a saying dair aya durust aya
lets come to the point
People around the Globe Especially Westerns Thinks that all terrorist are Muslims and almost all Muslims r Terrorist i will clear ur concept of terrorism  and Muslims well atleast i try
Terrorism has no religion
first talk about Jihad what is it? u guys r mixing jihad with terrorism

WHAT JIHAD IS

  • The Arabic word "jihad" is often translated as "holy war," but in a purely linguistic sense, the word " jihad" means struggling or striving.
  • The arabic word for war is: "al-harb".
  • In a religious sense, as described by the Quran and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (s), "jihad" has many meanings. It can refer to internal as well as external efforts to be a good Muslims or believer, as well as working to inform people about the faith of Islam.
  • If military jihad is required to protect the faith against others, it can be performed using anything from legal, diplomatic and economic to political means. If there is no peaceful alternative, Islam also allows the use of force, but there are strict rules of engagement. Innocents - such as men, children, or invalids - must never be harmed, and any peaceful overtures from the enemy must be accepted.
  • Military action is therefore only one means of jihad, and is very rare. To highlight this point, the Prophet Mohammed told his followers returning from a military campaign: "This day we have returned from the minor jihad to the major jihad," which he said meant returning from armed battle to the peaceful battle for self-control and betterment.
  • In case military action appears necessary, not everyone can declare jihad. The religious military campaign has to be declared by a proper authority, advised by scholars, who say the religion and people are under threat and violence is imperative to defend them. The concept of "just war" is very important.
  • The concept of jihad has been hijacked by many political and religious groups over the ages in a bid to justify various forms of violence. In most cases, Islamic splinter groups invoked jihad to fight against the established Islamic order. Scholars say this misuse of jihad contradicts Islam.
  • Examples of sanctioned military jihad include the Muslims' defensive battles against the Crusaders in medieval times, and before that some responses by Muslims against Byzantine and Persian attacks during the period of the early Islamic conquests.

WHAT JIHAD IS NOT

  • Jihad is not a violent concept.
  • Jihad is not a declaration of war against other religions. It is worth noting that the Koran specifically refers to Jews and Christians as "people of the book" who should be protected and respected. All three faiths worship the same God. Allah is just the Arabic word for God, and is used by Christian Arabs as well as Muslims.
  • Military action in the name of Islam has not been common in the history of Islam. Scholars says most calls for violent jihad are not sanctioned by Islam.
  • Warfare in the name of God is not unique to Islam. Other faiths throughout the world have waged wars with religious justifications

The above state is not written by me have taken it from the internet but i will explain it to u in simple words
Our god ALLAH almighty has given us command to fight for our religion to protect it jihad doesn't mean to kill innocents Islam don't even allow us to to kill someone in the way/name of ALLAH or it is said in holy Quran and by Holy Prophet  Muhammad (S.A.W) Ek Insaan ki Maut puri Insaaniyat ki maut hoty hy ''وفاة رجل هو وفاة الإنسانية'' एक व्यक्ति की मौत पूरी नसानीत की मौत होती है ''La mort d'un homme est la mort de l'humanitaire " Bir erkeğin ölümü insani ölümü"Una muerte para hombre es la muerte de toda la humanidad''One men's death is death of whole Mankind

People call us ( Muslim ) Terrorist. on which bases? 9/11 attack? what about the attacks in Afghanistan,Iraq,Iran,Syria,Palestine and Muslim Killing in Burma, the Peshawar Attack ( Pakistan )and many more
why no response on it ? no ok say it that this is also done by Muslims? to become innocent the eye of public......what if i say that behind 9/11 attack is US Government itself ? no really i mean it.
in that attack 2,997 ppl were killed most of them were ordinary people and foreigner
if Taliban (terrorist) has done that then why they didn't crashed white house ?  maybe the done it just to prove themselves innocent ? or trying to prove our religion bad? there are many question and maybe's but nobody's know what the truth is

Ya ok for a second we admit it the Muslim done it (The 9/11 Attack) what was the reason behind it? to kill innocent? to spread terror? Jihad? no it's not the truth
The Truth is they were just taking the revenge. Revenge of killing the innocent their families friends and  dear ones. all were killed in attack that is done by Americans
calling people wrong ( terrorist ) is so easy. but to feel their pain is so difficult so hard
seeing the killing of you family in front of your eye.listening there screaming, watching them praying for there death (cause they can't face the pain anymore)  it's so hard and painful
just imagine yourself in their place and then tell are they wrong?
they just done it to let the world feel their pain I know that was not the right way but iske ilawa aur koi way bhi nahi tha
Wo sahi nahi hain lakin hum unhe ghalt bhi nahi kah sikte They r not right but u can't even call them wrong
i feel really sorry for them. you people say what comes in your mind but before talking just think about other and their feeling ''u can someone idiot or fool'' cause u r mad at them or maybe r making fun of them hurting someone's feeling is not a mazak (Fun) maybe they pretend that unhe koi farq nahi parta but it actually do they get hurt but don't tell and this is even worst and one day in life they will surely take the revenge
u guys were thinking that what the hell i am talking about well I'm just trying to make u understand in simple words and example

lets talk about Peshawar attack ( Pakistan ) TTP attacked on Army Public School (APS) in Peshawar on 16th December 2014 in which total 145 people killed 132 of them were children (student) between the age group of 8-18 and other were school staff
the reason behind it was that the they want the army to feel their pain said by taliban himself
we just cried over the APS kids but what about their kids their families
hunhhh? what justice ? wo ka hota hai bhai
ye sab log paisay ke hain yahn se banda mar kar jao wahn ja kr paisay do aur azad hojao
bs itna hi
jis Muashare mn main rahti hun wahn insaan ki koi value nai hai value hai to sirf paisay ki yahn par koi kuch nahi bolta aur agar koi kuch bolta hy tu mara jata hy ase mn ek am insaan kya kare? bs phr itni nainsaafi dekhne ka baad insaan ko ye lagta hy hai ke ab use jo karna hy khud krna hy.. phr wo ghalt rasta choose karta aur hum awam uski help karne ki bajai us per criticize krne lagte hain

The propose of this article was not o encourage Terrorism or the Terrorist at all. i just want to clear the concept of people about islam(jihad) and just to let them know that  terrorist are not Muslim ( terrorism has no religion ) and To make them HATE TERRORISM NOT THE TERRORIST

If u have any problem with this article then let me know and if i hv said something then plss correct it by commenting below and i am sorry if i had hurts ur feeling by this article Forgive me Pray for me and ya don't forget to help others see you soon InshAllah till that  Allah Hafiz Good Night
