what we’ve heard, Shahid Kapoor is ready to get married. And the bride is a final year English Honours student from Lady Shri Ram College, Mira Rajput. The two apparently met through a religious group in Beas, of which Shahid and his father Pankaj Kapur are ardent followers. And what’s more, Shahid and Mira reportedly got engaged on January 14^th, but have been avoiding the media. While Shahid and Mira have been keeping hush about the entire affair, reports also say that Shahid’s father visited Mira’s home in Chhatarpur a few days ago. Shahid had earlier expressed the desire to marry someone outside the industry for a fresh perspective. So it remains to be seen if Mira is indeed the one for him.

The actress who has just consummated shooting for Shahid Kapoor starrer 'Shandaar' has been asked to hold on to a messy look for her next film.

Alia who has been cast along with Shahid and Kareena Kapoor Khan in 'Udta Punjab' is making whole lot of efforts to adhere to the strict guidelines given to her.

As published by a leading daily, the 'Highway' star will have to keep her hair unwashed for long for her character in her upcoming film.

The particular role demands her to sport a dirty and messy look and therefore Alia Bhatt will have to resist combing or washing her beautiful tresses for a few days.

Shahid Kapoor went Through 15 Looks For

                       Udta Punjab

After Aamir Khan, looks like Bollywood heartthrob Shahid Kapoor is soon earning the label of being a Perfectionist.

Apparently, Shahid Kapoor experimented with close to 15 looks for his upcoming film, ‘Udta Punjab’. The actor has been meeting with different stylists to finalise his look for the Abhishek Chaubey film.

From sporting short hair, to a messy shaggy look, ponytail, coloured hair – Shahid Kapoor has tried it all. Shahid also grew a French beard to see if it goes with his character. Apart from that, the Kapoor lad has been pumping some iron in the gym to build his physique.

Shahid Kapoor, who garnered great acclaim for ‘Haider’, has also been attending various workshops to help him get into the skin of his character. He also revealed on Twitter that ‘Udta Punjab’ maybe one of his toughest roles ever. The thriller will also star Shahid Kapoor’s former flame Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt.

First Look: Kareena Kapoor in udta Punjab

The first look of Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor and Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh is out. A picture from the sets of the film, directed by Abhishek Chaubey was creating buzz online on Friday.

Clad in a patiala salwar-suit, Kareena is seen riding a bike with Diljit in the picture.

Produced by Anurag Kashyap’s Phantom Films, Udta Punjab also features Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The movie is currently being shot in rural areas of Amritsar as well as a few locations in Punjab.

About his role in Udta Punjab, Shahid Kapoor had earlier tweeted, "Scariest part I have played yet have no clue how I'm going to get it right. Wish me luck guys."

According to a report, singer Kunal Ganjawala has recently expressed his anger over presence of Pakistani musicians in Bollywood music. Expressing his love for Arijit Singh's soulful singing, he said that the singer has shown Pakistani singers their way out. He also said that the Pakistani singers have not contributed to the Hindi film industry in any way. Talking about veteran Pakistani singer, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Kunal said that a lot of people in India can sing on that high a note. Moreover, about the much loved singer Atif Aslam, Kunal said that Atif does not have anything except arrogance.

I think it's B'cos Atif is a Pakistani actor/singer and he get so much love from india even more then him I think it is a kind of jealousy

Katrina Kaif may not be super vocal about her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor but whenever she does talk about RK her quotes are dipped in sugar! At the India Today Conclave, Kat opened up about her relationship with RK and the Kapoor family saying that Neetu Kapoor is a stunning lady while Rishi Kapoor is a darling.

During an interview with an entertainment portal abroad, Kat was all praises for her boyfriend. She said, “Ranbir is like me, in the way that he is very loyal and emotional to the people he really cares about in his inner circle, which is very small. He can come out very detached to people outside of that. The only difference between his behaviour and my behaviour, let’s say on a film set, is that while he is incredibly charming and polite with everyone that he comes in contact with, I don’t think he yet realises what an important and amazing trait that is, I will get tired after saying a good morning to just three people.”
